In this Directors Update we would like to tell you that we now have a website up and running: www.stedwardspark.org . There will still be features to add but we wanted to have a place where all Members can see our updates on information about the Park. It is also a place where we can celebrate our home too. Please have a look.
By now, you should have received the minutes of the General Meeting by email, or will receive them shortly by post.
Next Directors Meeting
We have our next Directors meeting this Friday, 1st July. (For those who are just finding this website and don’t do Facebook, the other posts on here are a summary of that meeting).
After next weeks meeting, we will again update here on the website, on Facebook and will arrange for emails or letters to reach all Members so they know about the new website together with an matters discussed. We will also provide further clarity on the Members questions that have been raised.
Development Budget – It was felt by members and directors that there would be a need to future proof the Estate for EV’s and/or new technology that may come. A vote was taken – 6 for and 1 against- a proposal to postpone the EV charge 2022/2023 so that further investigation could be taken and consultations made. Part of the considerations could be of volunteer (paying) installations on a trial, which properties have no need at all etc. 3 Quotes would be needed and impact to the Estate considered. The adjustment to the Budget for 2022/2023 would be reflected in the second half of the Estate Budget to save costs of reprinting the whole budgets again.
On the 15th May 2022, a new management team of 7 directors were appointed to St Edwards Park Management Company Limited. There was a tremendous response to these appointments. The new directors are: Mr Chris Mellalieu, Mr Steve Bannister, Mr Jason Dalmas, Miss Barbara Davis, Ms Suzanne Lawson, Miss Victoria Salt, Mr Phil Walker.
Their first meeting was held on Friday 27th May 2022 – and there was a lot to discuss. Since their appointment, the volunteer directors have been working on finalising the contractor for the external paining of the buildings which is now due to start by the end of June.
